MORE PVT HOSPITALS IDENTIFIED FOR FREE MEDICAL TREATMENT TO EWS PATIENTS

Two more private hospitals, namely, Sita Ram Bhartiya Hospital, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi (7 Free-Beds) and Jivodyaya Hospital, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi (4 Free-Beds) have been identified and added to the list of 43 already identified private hospitals in Delhi those are obliged to provide totally free medical treatment to EWS patients to the extent of 10% IPD & 25% OPD. Now the list of such private hospitals in Delhi has gone to 45 (Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar not included). EWS patient from any part of the country is entitled to such totally free medical treatment provided its family income per month does not exceed to Rs.7020/-. No documentary proof of the income is required.
